Caroline is a contemporary dancer, dance maker, improviser, and teacher. After sparking an interest in Contact Improvisation and its ever-changing nature while studying a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Dance at the University of Melbourne, Victorian College of the Arts, she undertook an Honours program to study the form and continue to develop her dance practice. Through improvisation, research and choreography Caroline discovered the drive behind her creativity comes from asking “what if” and seeking joy and loves investigating new and experimental movement. She values dance and movement as a form of self-expression, storytelling, and communication with her audience.

Caroline is a versatile performer, as well as expertise in contemporary dance and Contact Improvisation, she has a strong technical foundation based on many years of ballet training and continues to study additional theatrical styles. Passionate about learning and always seeking to diversify her practice, Caroline has studied singing, Stage Combat, and has participated in arts exchange programs in Singapore, Hong Kong, France and the Cook Islands.

Caroline shared her ideas in a recent collaborative choreography performing in Dancebourne Arts 'Gala Divertissement' in June 2022 and toured with the company to Drysdale in regional Victoria to perform Five Elements in July 2022. Caroline choreographed a new contemporary piece "Conspire "for their Die Puppenfee program in November 2022 and is thrilled to next perform the same piece in their upcoming Triple Bill metro tour in June 2023.
