Cassandra was born in Malaysia and began dancing when she was 4 years old. As an aspiring young student of Pointe and Music Academy in Malaysia, Cassandra competed in the CSTD (Commonwealth Society Teachers of Dance competition) and the prestigious YAGP (Youth Asian Grand Prix).
Cassandra moved to Melbourne to complete a full-time training course at The National Theatre Ballet School under the direction of Damian Smith. She graduated with the Advance Diploma of Elite Performance and was selected as a finalist in the World Ballet Competition 2021.
Cassandra was accepted into the Dancebourne Arts Artistic Development Program 2022/23 and has just become an apprentice. She looks forward to her next experience working with the company and performing in their upcoming Fairy Doll - Triple bill metro tour performance in June 2023.
