Catherine was born in Melbourne and found a love of dancing early in life. She trained at the Ballet Theatre of Australia. Her achievements include the prestigious Solo Seal Award and she represented Australia in the Margot Fonteyn International Ballet Competition (formerly known as the Genee Awards) in London and won the Cecchetti International Ballet Competition.
Catherine’s professional career took place at The Australian Ballet and The Victorian State Ballet performing in The Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake.
Since becoming a mother, Catherine has channeled her passion for dance into teaching, where she finds great joy in inspiring and nurturing the next generation of dancers in ballet schools across Melbourne.
Catherine is overjoyed to be working and dancing with Luanne again after meeting each other two decades ago and feels grateful to be working with such inspiring artists at Dancebourne Arts.
