Hiroko started ballet at the young age of 3 in Tokyo, Japan. She was accepted into the full-time training course at the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet in Melbourne and successfully completed both her Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Dance.
Hiroko was offered a place with the Tokyo Komaki Ballet and whilst with the company received 3rd place in the prestigious ZAMA All Japan Ballet Competition. She also danced with the Mongolian State Academic Theatre Opera and Ballet gaining much experience dancing their classical repertoire.
Hiroko is now a freelance artist in Japan and Australia and is delighted to join Dancebourne Arts for their 2023 seasons performing in The Fairy Doll – Triple Bill metro tour in June 2023 and Five Elements at Gasworks Art Park in September 2023.
