Melinda was born in Darwin and began dancing at 5 years of age. She moved to Queensland and continued her classical ballet training under the direction of renown Royal Academy of Dancing tutor Ruth Lane. Melinda commenced her full-time training in Melbourne at the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet in 2017 under the directorship of Christine Walsh. Melinda completed her transition year at the Melbourne Conservatoire of Ballet under the directorship of John Sandurski and is currently undertaking a Diploma in Pilates Teaching. Melinda was engaged as an apprentice by Dancebourne Arts for the 2021 performance season and has just been promoted to a dancer position for the 2022 season. Melinda enjoys spreading her joy and love of the classical ballet art form.
