Die Puppenfee BALLET - Triple Bill

Dancebourne Arts brings the charming repertoire of the classic historic one act story ballet "Die Puppenfee (The Fairy Doll) to delighted audiences. First premiered in Vienna in 1888, Die Puppenfee is set in a toy shop in St Petersburg in the1850’s whereby when night falls the dolls miraculously come to life when the fairy doll invites them to a ball.
This charming ballet was one of the most successful productions in the late 19th century – it is a true and rarely staged gem not to be missed! Die Puppenfee will feature the divine company artists and the emerging talent of our youth company artists.
The Triple Bill program will also include a stunning new classical and contemporary choreography performed by the artists of Dancebourne Arts.

To celebrate their 7th anniversary, Dancebourne Arts will present a Gala Divertissement of classical ballet and contemporary dance.

This special performance will feature the exquisite renown ballet Paquita, based on the original Petitpa version, a fast and lively tarantella ballet Viva, choreographed by Artistic Director Luanne Hyson, an innovative new collaborative contemporary dance work by the artists of Dancebourne Arts and for the first time, a youth initiative with a stunning piece created by choreographer Kathleen Skipp to be performed by a select group of promising young dancers.
