Ballet GALA Dance DIVERTISSEMENT

To celebrate their 7th anniversary, Dancebourne Arts will present a Gala Divertissement of classical ballet and contemporary dance.

This special performance will feature the exquisite renown ballet Paquita, based on the original Petitpa version, a fast and lively tarantella ballet Viva, choreographed by Artistic Director Luanne Hyson, an innovative new collaborative contemporary dance work by the artists of Dancebourne Arts and for the first time, a youth initiative with a stunning piece created by choreographer Kathleen Skipp to be performed by a select group of promising young dancers.

Dancebourne Arts is seeking Melbourne based professional classical/contemporary dancers (female & male) and choreographers for their 2022 season with performances scheduled in Melbourne & Regional Victoria.

Artistic Development Program 2022

January - December 2022 Program is annual or per term.
Optional, part-time hours: 10 hours per week over 3 days 20 hours per week over 4 days.

Dancebourne Arts has been invited to perform at the Florence Dance Festival in Italy. It will take its 'Godai' (Wind, Earth, Water, Fire & Void) programme, which premiered in Melbourne last year, and will perform on August 1, 2018.
